Assuta Medical Centers is the largest private chain of medical centers in Israel, owned by Maccabi Healthcare. It includes four hospitals (Tel Aviv-Ramat HaChayal, Rishon LeZion, Haifa and Be'er Sheba) and three medical centers with operating rooms and outpatient care in Ashdod, Tel Aviv HaShalom, and Raanana. Additional sites are planned to be opened in the near future. The first public hospital to be constructed in forty years was recently opened by Assuta with joint funding with the State, for the benefit of the residents Ashdod and the surrounding area.
We had the honor to have an interesting and educational discussion about the Israeli health ecosystem and digital health industry this morning at the offices of the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry in Manhattan. The meeting was initiated by Iftach Yabetz and Inon Elroy, the Economic Minister to North America, and led by Prof. Shuki Shemer, Chairman of the Board of Assuta Medical Centers.
We are looking forward to working together with Assuta in the upcoming years.
