We are proud to welcome our first fellowship initiated by the Israeli Doctors of America. A joint initiative of Oren Lerman, MD and Itay Wiser, MD, PhD, both plastic surgeons in the New York area, this program embodies the vision of our organization. 

A recent graduate of plastic surgery residency in Jerusalem began a fellowship training in New York in microsurgery in August 2019. Focusing on advanced techniques in breast reconstruction, this Israeli doctor is spending one year training with leading plastic surgeons in New York, including four of our members (Oren Lerman, Jonathan Bank, Ron Israeli, and Randall Feingold.) Upon completion of training the fellow will return to Israel to provide services previously unavailable in the home hospital.
